We were so excited to see that the Oak Leaf tea towel from Studiopatro in our Fall Just Because collection is featured in the October edition of Better Homes and Gardens. The tea towel adds such a festive touch of fall to our tablescape this season.

Cheers to the Royals on an incredible season! We're cheering ourselves up today with Eleni's Beyond Butterscotch cookies, available in our Fall Love collection.
Although we are lifelong fans of the Royals, we do have some love for San Francisco too. After all, two of our most popular gifts are from the City by the Bay. Since October is nearing to a close, it means two things for the VelvetCrate blog: 1. Our Royals posts will be coming to a close for the season, and 2. It's the end of National Cookie Month.

Did you know it's National Cookie Month? If you didn't know, now ya know. We're admitted cookie monsters, so every Wednesday through the month of October, we'll share some of our favorite cookie recipes and bakeries with you. But first, about the cookies featured in the VelvetCrate Fall collection!
Our cookies are from the Cookie Crisps collection from Eleni's New York, a bakery in Chelsea Market in New York. In our Celebrate collection is a box of sprinkled Pink Sugar cookies, the Just Because collection features the classic Chocolate Chip, and in the Love collection is sweet Beyond Butterscotch.
